purchasing power of consumers remains low.
On Thursday The Department of Statistics reported, that in November 2024 year the revenues of retail trade were 884 million euros, but sales volume decreased by 1% compared with the same period of the last year.
The Selver spokesman emphasized that November 2024 was the most successful month of the year in retail trading. “Growth in current prices was +0.9%, while sales decreased by only -0.7%. But when evaluating the result must take into account the significantly lower base of comparison for long-term use goods.
