It turned out that in the first six months of 2024 to the first half of 2023, the demand for dermatological drugs and parasite treatments for pets increased by 16% and 91%, respectively.
Also, high demand is recorded in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 in the category of veterinary products for the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract, the increase was 131%, which is significantly higher than in previous periods. Thus, for the full year 2023, demand for this category of drugs increased by only 6.5% compared to 2022 figures. Sales of drugs for the treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system in animals are also growing, by 36% in the first half of 2024 to the first half of 2023.
The highest sales growth rates in physical terms (number of packages) across the network at the moment for the 6 months of 2024 to the first 6 months of 2023 were recorded in the category of wound healing products for animals. The increase was almost twice as large as for the full year 2023 compared to 2022. Thus, in 2023 for the full year compared to 2022, these drugs were purchased 560% more often. The explosive growth of the category is due, among other things, to the expansion of the range.
