In the first three months of 2024, the share of domestic monitors on the market reached 10%, Vedomosti writes, citing data from analysts at the electronics distributor OCS. Just two years ago this figure did not exceed 1%.

According to the results of the study, the most prominent domestic monitor manufacturers on the Russian market were Beshtau, Graviton, Aquarius, Delta Computers and LightCom.
“Russian devices have become more frequently chosen by corporate customers: the greatest interest in the first quarter of this year was shown by large companies from the energy, oil and gas sector, construction and housing and communal services , as well as financial organizations,” noted Alexander Loginov, director of the personal systems department at OCS Distribution.
According to company statistics, the total sales of monitors in Russia in the first quarter of this year increased by a third compared to the same period a year earlier. The company did not provide absolute values, but, according to GfK analysts, in the first three months, 873,000 monitors were sold in the country for 14.2 billion rubles.
And in the SME segment and in retail, the most popular brand of monitors among Russians has become Taiwanese Acer. Despite the fact that the company suspended its operations in Russia in April 2022, Acer devices enter the country through a parallel import mechanism.
