The partners launched the project at the end of July 2023, installing special boxes for collecting items in ten Moscow post offices. Visitors can leave clothes and shoes, home textiles, leather goods and soft toys there. Russian Post and the Second Wind Foundation announced the decision to extend the project for another 12 months.
The foundation donates part of the collected items to people who find themselves in difficult life situations – these are low-income and large families, pensioners, people with disabilities, the homeless, women in crisis centers, and internally displaced persons. In 2023, the fund collaborated with 136 social organizations in 24 regions of Russia. And the project employees sort the worn-out clothes and send them for recycling.
