The company Torgservis PL, operator Mere, registered in 2017 year. The process of finding suitable locations for convenience stores lasted until 2020 year, when in summer in Cestochowa started the first point of retailer. Russian oligarchs have more companies in Poland

 Andrey Shnayder, Sergey Shnayder the partners of Torgservis, have also founded the company named LIGHTWEST PL, where the president is Hanna Sivets. The company as the object of activity has inscribed trade in non-specialized stores with food and there is already an improved situation, because the company employing 1 employee, has 126 tys. zl profit with revenue from sales of 603 thousand zl. and with short-term liabilities exceeding 3 million zł.

In October the Ukraine authorities imposed sanctions on Mere. It was decided then, that the discounter could not develop in this state. And then came the year 2022.

After the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, customers also began boycotting the Mere facilities. On forums concerning purchases on the Russian network, the following have started appearing: “I don’t imagine that anyone would do shop after 24 February”, ” we don’t support Russian economy”. Hitherto buyers have praised Mere for low prices, although they have had concerns about quality or the appearance of shops selling goods straight from pallets and lack of goods on shelves.

Lots of irregularities at Mere

A boycott by customers was not the only concern Mere. After 24 February the discounter acting on commission and paying for the good only after it is sold, from many contractors received awareness, that it is possible only to settle for cash and that in paid form from up.As we have found out, Mere has attempted to sign leases, which majority of operating costs (including bills for heating) transfer to owners of locations. This had to explain the slow tempo of openings. Also the company was not to report to headquarters the running problems, a situation in Poland was presented in a rather optimistic tone. The problems with the opening of other locations because of lack of sanepidorseriousconcernsoftheinspectorateoflabor were overlooked.
