According to Kommersant, over the past six months, demand for Bulgarian housing from Russian citizens has increased by forty percent compared to the previous year. In Montenegro, the number of real estate transactions by Russians increased by 12 percent. Their numbers have also increased in Hungary, Cyprus, France and Spain.
The first half of this year also saw increased interest among Russian investors in real estate in Asia. The number of transactions increased by 64 percent in Thailand and 15 percent in Indonesia.
