The largest recipients of Russian flour

The largest recipient of Russian flour, as in 2023, is Afghanistan. In January-July, deliveries to this country increased more than 5-fold, to almost 270 thousand tons. Afghanistan has intensified purchases of Russian flour since the fall of 2023, and in April this year, a record monthly volume of over 65 thousand tons was recorded.

The second recipient of Russian flour this year is China. According to ITC Trade Map, at the end of the first half of this year, Russia was the leader among the main suppliers of flour to China, with a share exceeding 60%. According to expert estimates, the export volume increased 1.7 times in 7 months and approached 80 thousand tons. The top three importers also include Iraq, to which over 68 thousand tons of Russian flour were sent in the January-July period.
