Robert Makłowicz himself was delighted with the premises of this chain – the first Rebernia in Poland is now open
Although Rebernia in Manufaktura is the first in Poland, its concept is not foreign.
– This is certainly one of the most anticipated gastronomic openings in the last few years – notes Monika Langner, spokeswoman for Manufaktura. – Even before the official premiere, we heard that Poles know this brand very well – emphasizes the spokeswoman. The premiere weekend was a huge success for the restaurant – the restaurant was visited by approximately 3,000 guests.
– We are glad that we were welcomed so warmly by the inhabitants of Łódź. We worked on the opening for a long time, the renovation of the premises itself took many months – says Stanisław Szewczyk, restaurant manager. – We believe that our iconic ribs and convivial atmosphere will attract guests from all over Poland – adds the manager.
What is Rebernia?
Rebernia is an original concept of the !FEST Holding, which was established in Lviv in 2016.
Rebernia in Manufaktura took over one of the largest catering establishments on the historic, characteristic red brick market square (over 1,000 sq m of space with a summer garden). Inside there is an open kitchen with impressive mangals (grills) in which the fire is lit. Guests can observe the entire process – from arranging the wood for kindling, through preparing the meat, to grilling and serving. The interior of Rebernia is decorated in an industrial, modern style – the hall and the mezzanine on the first floor are filled with wooden benches and tables, and the accessories are dominated by steel and glass. On the walls of the premises you can see original works by the best Polish graphic designers and illustrators, including: Andrzej Mleczko, Andrzej Rysuje, Hanna Kmieć or Karyna Piwowarska, which refer to the theme of the premises or social issues.
The restaurant has a convivial, relaxed atmosphere. You won't get any cutlery there – as in the old days, you eat ribs with your hands, and the cutlery is only painted on paper tablecloths. Before and after the meal, guests can use large, industrial sinks in the room, as well as paper aprons with drawings to protect their outfits. In addition to meat and fish, Rebernia also offers aromatic grilled vegetables, various types of cheese and baked potatoes, all accompanied by craft beer from the Pravda brewery.
