- Subsidies from Moje Prąd 6.0 will be available not only to owners of houses but also apartment owners in blocks of flats investing in, for example, awnings consisting of PV cells, i.e. roofing of balconies or entrances that produce electricity.
- Co-financing from Moje Prąd 6.0 will also cover photovoltaic balcony sets.
- All the above photovoltaic installations must be connected to the power grid to obtain subsidies from Moje Prąd 6.0. Any off-grid solutions and installations disconnected from the power grid will not be subsidized.
- The total power of all subsidized renewable energy installations owned by the prosumer, together with the photovoltaic micro-installation and energy storage, cannot exceed 50 kW.
- In accordance with the applicable rules of the Moje Prąd program, to obtain a subsidy of PLN 7,000. PLN for micro-installations with a capacity of 2 kW to 20 kW, it will be mandatory to install an energy storage facility, but from August 1, 2024
- For PV micro-installations submitted for connection by July 31, 2024, energy or heat storage as an additional device will not be a necessary condition for obtaining funding from Moje Prąd 6.0
- As announced by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, recruitment for the Moje Prąd 6.0 program is initially planned to begin on September 2, 2024 and will last until December 20 this year. or until the budget is exhausted.
The Moje Prąd program offers co-financing for the purchase and installation of energy storage facilities in the amount of PLN 16,000. PLN, and in the case of heat storage up to PLN 5,000. zloty
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, an obligatory requirement for obtaining funding from the Moje Prąd 6.0 program for photovoltaic micro-installations will be the connection of an energy storage facility.
This requirement will apply to all photovoltaic installations submitted for connection to the grid after August 1, 2024. What does this mean for future beneficiaries of the Moje Prąd 6.0 program?

Without an energy storage facility, you will not receive a subsidy for home photovoltaics from Moje Prąd 6.0
In accordance with the applicable rules of the Moje Prąd program, to obtain a subsidy of PLN 7,000. PLN for micro-installations with a power of 2 to 20 kW, it will be mandatory to install an energy storage facility.
The Moje Prąd program offers co-financing for the purchase and installation of energy storage facilities in the amount of PLN 16,000. PLN, and in the case of heat storage up to PLN 5,000. zloty
Moreover, the capacity of the energy storage submitted for co-financing should not be less than one and a half times the power per 1 watt of peak photovoltaic power.
Therefore, if our photovoltaic installation has a peak (installed) power of 10 kWp, such an energy storage facility will have to have a capacity of at least 15 KW. Otherwise, we will not receive subsidies from the Moje Prąd 6.0 program.
Typically, the basic condition for receiving funding from Moje Prąd 6.0 will be the settlement of energy produced from renewable energy sources in the net-billing system.
If owners settle their accounts using the net-metering system and want to benefit from subsidies, e.g. for energy storage, they will have to switch to the net-billing system.
The total power of all subsidized renewable energy installations owned by the prosumer, together with the photovoltaic micro-installation and energy storage, cannot exceed 50 kW.

Not only home owners will benefit from subsidies. What will be covered by funding from Moje Prąd 6.0?
According to the document published by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, co-financing will cover various photovoltaic installations along with additional devices, such as micro-inverters, but also PV awnings or photovoltaic balcony sets.
The MKiŚ document also mentions:
- PV micro-installations, which consist of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings or on ground structures with an inverter enabling charging of energy storage, or charging of energy storage and operation in island mode;
- PV micro-installations, which consist of photovoltaic panels with micro-inverters;
- carports or car canopies additionally covered with photovoltaic panels and similar structures containing PV cells;
- awnings consisting of PV cells, i.e. roofing of balconies or entrances that produce electricity;
- roof coverings with a photovoltaic function – e.g. photovoltaic roof tiles;
