The Warsaw company Rock Capital, developing cooperation with Leroy Merlin, secured an investment in a shopping complex covering 26,000 sq m. m² of leasable area. The key facility will be the French chain's DIY market.
Rock Park Pruszcz will be built at the intersection of Obrońców Westerplatte and NSZZ Solidarność streets, at the exit road No. 91. The plot on which the facility will be built is almost 100,000 square meters. m² of area.
The stage of preparing the preliminary agreement took two years, and it was also necessary to change the land development. – We knew from the very beginning that we had to conclude a contract to accumulate trade here through the presence of the French chain – says Michał Osadczuk, president of Rock Capital.
The investment, in addition to the commercial and service dimension and revenues to the city budget, is an opportunity for professional activation of Pruszcz residents, it will provide employment for several hundred people.
The mayor of Pruszcz Gdański, Janusz Wróbel, comments on the investment: “This project fits perfectly into our idea for the development of Pruszcz Gdański. We want to develop strongly, build housing estates, and provide residents with commercial and service spaces at the highest level. We are no longer considered the "bedroom" of Tricity, we are slowly becoming its attractive fourth part.
As Michał Osadczuk sums up: "Rock Park Pruszcz is our largest project to date and, as far as I know, the largest in the region."
The developer has purchased the plot and has already started implementing the next stages of the investment process. The facility will be ready in the second quarter of 2026. In addition to Leroy Merlin, there will be a grocery market and a number of stores of national brands with a full commercial and service offer, including: drugstore, sports store and electronics store.
