Financial assistance may be granted to poultry, cattle and pig breeders who have registered production activities and have insured their animals against salmonellosis. They must also have the right to the property on which they breed, and the insurance contract should cover at least: 1,000 pieces of slaughtered chickens, geese, turkeys and laying poultry; 14 pieces of pigs; 4 cattle.

Aid will be granted in the form of 70%. subsidies to the premium , provided that the policy states that compensation will be paid in the event of damage that exceeds 20%. production values. It is also important that the period covered by the insurance contract cannot start before April 1, 2022, and the person interested in financing cannot benefit from other insurance subsidies.

Applications will be accepted from August 1 to August 30, 2024 by the district offices of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. This is the fifth recruitment for support in the form of insurance subsidies. So far, nearly PLN 12 million has been transferred for this purpose.
