Recovering from the decline in global grain prices

The price of wheat on MATIF increased by over 2%.

Wheat in the September delivery contract on MATIF rose by 2.1% yesterday. and cost EUR 226.00/t (PLN 964/t), and y/y the prices dropped by 3.1%. The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange in the August contract increased by 1.1%. and amounted to EUR 215.50/t (PLN 919/t), and over the last year it decreased by 5.6%.

Cereal prices on CBOT have increased

Wheat on CBoT in the July contract increased by 0.2%. and cost USD 203.65/t. On a y/y basis, the prices fell by 12.9%. The price of corn in the July delivery contract on the Chicago Stock Exchange increased by 1.1%. and amounted to USD 157.57/t, and over the last year it decreased by 29.9%.
