Rail Baltica will be ready by 2030 year, confident head of the infrastructure project Anvar Salomets, and even expresses hope, that there should be no major problems with funding,

writes dv.ee.

“The year 2025 will be explicitly transitional for the project,” Salomets said.

In 2026-2027 years Rail Baltic Estonia will be under 380-450 million euros. According to Salomets, the money should come as a combination of funds from the European Union, revenues from the sale of quotas for CO2 emissions, and also to some extent from borrowed funds.

In 2028-2030 years Rail Baltic expects to receive funding already from the next budget periodoftheEU.
