One of the largest furniture manufacturers in Lithuania, Vilniaus baldai presented its performance results for the third quarter of this financial year, which worsened.
During the last quarter, the income of this company reached 18.35 million. euros, which compared to the same period a year ago, is more than nineteen percent less.
During the mentioned period, the EBITDA profit of Vilnius Furniture shrank by 21.5 percent to 2.884 million. euros, and here is the net – almost thirty percent to 1.199 million. euros.
In total, after three quarters of this financial year, the mentioned furniture manufacturer's income reaches 71.812 million. euros, or slightly more than a year ago during the same period, when they amounted to 71.546 million. euros. Meanwhile, EBITDA profit jumped from 4.7 to 12.914 million. euros, and the net profit amounted to 7.902 million euros (a net loss of 0.345 million euros was incurred during the same period a year ago).
Since the beginning of this year, the value of the furniture market in Vilnius has increased by a quarter, and in the last one year – by almost forty-three percent. For comparison, the value of the OMX Vilnius GI index increased by 3.5 percent and fell by 0.3 percent, respectively.
