Shareholders of Qiwi plc will consider renaming the company NanduQ plc, according to the group's website . The initiative will be discussed at the annual general meeting of shareholders, which will take place on August 27, 2024.

As part of the annual meeting, shareholders will also have to approve the audited financial statements for 2023, elect a board of directors and re-elect the audit company. Shareholders registered at the close of business on July 11 will be able to participate in the meeting.
In April, Qiwi analysts predicted a loss of 22.7 billion rubles in 2024 due to a deal to sell a Russian business. At the end of 2023, Qiwi recorded a loss of 14.4 billion rubles. from the sale of Russian assets at a discount for foreign ownership. In the future, the company plans to focus on developing assets in Kazakhstan and the UAE.
At the end of January, Qiwi sold its assets in Russia to the Hong Kong company Fusion Factor Fintech Limited, the transaction amounted to 23.75 billion rubles. The group planned to use the funds received from the transaction to develop international business.
