Let us remind you: Friday's trading on the small trading floor ended with a sudden price increase. The auction ended with a result of EUR 2.37 per kilogram, 10 groszy higher than the price set during Tuesday's session. At the same time, it was the highest result since August last year.

Prices of fattened pigs in the country
Domestic processors have not yet been influenced by the results of Friday's session. In the vast majority of cases, the rates established a week ago apply. The differences in the average purchase price of fattened pigs are negligible.
According to our survey today, domestic purchasers pay from PLN 9.30 to PLN 9.70 net per kilogram for fattened pigs in class E. The average purchase price is PLN 9.49 net per kilogram – exactly the same as last week.
We do not observe any changes in the prices of fattened pigs purchased in live weight. The rates range from PLN 6.50 to PLN 7.90, and the average purchase price is PLN 7.30 net per kilogram – a symbolic 2 cents more than a week ago.
Waiting for a big stock exchange
It seems that everyone is waiting, first of all, for the result of today's auction on the small stock exchange, and above all, for tomorrow's session of the VEZG stock exchange. It will then turn out whether the recently recorded sudden upward trend on the ISW stock exchange will translate into the prices of fattened pigs in Poland.
