The Hyundai Creta will return to the Russian Federation under a new name, writes Sostav with reference to the Telegram channel “Russian Automobile” .

At the beginning of autumn of this year, it is planned to resume the assembly of Hyundai Creta cars at the AGR automobile plant (formerly Hyundai plant) in St. Petersburg. But they will enter the Russian market under the name Solaris HC.
Currently, the plant produces 100 cars per day. This production volume will remain until the end of the year. Only Hyundai Solaris cars leave the assembly line, which are now called Solaris HS in Russia. The production of Kia Rio X cars will also start in September, which will be presented in the country under the name Solaris KRX.
In June, AGR produced 2.6 thousand cars under the Solaris brand. Since February, when production started, the number of cars produced has amounted to 10.5 thousand, writes the portal 32cars.ru.
Let us remind you that the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg, previously purchased by the Russian company Art-Finance, was renamed the AGR automobile plant in February of this year.
