3 January Prisma reduced prices by more than 200 goods of its own brand Xtra. The products have become more affordable in response to the increasing demand of customers for more lower prices.
The goal of the action is to help customers cope with the increase in taxes, which has reduced consumer confidence and made their purchases more considered.
According to Director of Assortment and Procurement Prisma Kaimo Niitaru, Xtra products are already competitively priced, often being up to 50 percent cheaper than similar goods. “Through collaboration with cooperatives in the countries of Scandinavia and large parties of procurement we are able to keep prices at low levels. “In addition, the packaging of goods is simplified to avoid unnecessary costs,” said Niitaru. He added that despite the low prices, the quality of products and responsible production is guaranteed.
Lowering prices affects the wide assortment of food and first necessities, including gluten-free foods, meat products, frozen berries, sweets andhygienegoods.ThemostpopulargoodsXtrain2024were, for example, salami, vanillaice cream, potatofriesandwet wipesforbabies.
