Primark adds home and menswear as it rolls out click and collect to more stores

Primark is rolling out its click-and-collect service to 54 more stores across Great Britain in time for the peak Christmas shopping period.

The high street retailer is also expanding the range available through the service to include menswear and homewares alongside women’s and kidswear.

The move means click and collect will be available in more than half of its stores nationwide, putting Primark closer to its target of having the service live in all its stores by the end of 2025.

Primark UK retail director Kari Rodgers said: “It’s been fifty years since we first opened our doors in Derby to bring affordable fashion to the British high street and expanding click and collect is another way we are giving people more reasons to visit their local high street and Primark.

“We know our customers love its convenience and the opportunity to access our wider ranges typically only found in larger stores.

“We’re thrilled to reveal the new stores to offer the service and extend access to our ranges even further before the busy Christmas shopping period begins.”

Primark posted a 46% surge in adjusted operating profit to £508m in the 24 weeks to 2 March as sales jumped 7.5% to £4.5bn.

The retailer attributed its growth to newly-opened stores and by last year’s “carefully selected price increases” to offset inflation, which helped margins increase from 8.3% to 11.3%.
