This means that at least until next Wednesday, the purchase price recommended by VEZG will be EUR 2.10 per kilogram of fattened pig with a meat content of 57%.
Converted into the national currency (according to the euro exchange rate from yesterday: 1 EUR = 4.30 PLN), the recommended purchase price of fattening pigs is PLN 9.03 per kilogram.
This year, prices of fattening pigs at VEZG ranged from EUR 2.00 to EUR 2.20 per kilogram.
Despite price stabilization on the German market, last week brought a significant drop in prices of fattened pigs in domestic purchases. At the beginning of the week, they ranged from PLN 8.85 net per kilogram of class E pigs and PLN 6.85 net per kilogram of livestock. It is worth adding that these are the lowest rates since mid-February.
