What are the prices at Auchan?
In August, Auchan offered 50 products from the Basket at a price of PLN 350-361. This is PLN 20 more than in June this year (PLN 330-334 depending on the city). In Auchan, chocolate, butter, eggs, Gouda cheese, matjes, sausage and bananas have become more expensive. At the same time, shopping in Auchan currently costs the same as a year earlier, in August 2023.
Prices in Kaufland
In the Kaufland chain, we currently pay PLN 393 for 50 FMCG products, the same as in June this year. In Kaufland, some prices went up, e.g. coffee, and others went down – e.g. tea, so the bill for shopping is the same as in June. Compared to August 2023, we currently pay about PLN 5 less in this chain (PLN 398).
Prices at E.Leclerc
E.Leclerc offers 50 FMCG products at a price of PLN 400-409, which is almost the same as in June this year. In stores with the E.Leclerc logo, chocolate, oil and butter have become more expensive, but coffee, for example, has become cheaper. Compared to August 2023, E.Leclerc maintains similar prices (over PLN 400 for 50 products).
Prices at Carrefour
In Carrefour, 50 products from the Price Basket currently cost PLN 408-410, compared to PLN 406-408 in June this year. A year ago, we paid around PLN 412 in Carrefour, which means that prices in this chain are almost at the same level as last year.
Monitoring was conducted by dlahandlu.pl pollsters. The survey was conducted on the weekend of August 9-10, 2024.
Price basket dlahandlu.pl
Since the beginning of 2014, dlahandlu.pl has been obtaining data only through direct price lists in stores, on dates known only to the editorial staff. The dlahandlu.pl price basket includes the prices of 50 branded products, and only in the absence of such products, the average market price for a given product. In the event that a product is available in a store in a different weight than that adopted in the project and provided on the website, the price is converted to the indicated size, e.g. 1 liter, 1 kilogram, 450 g in the case of cold cuts, etc.
