We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 models, Izvestia reports .

The number of applications for pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 folding smartphones announced a few days ago at MTS increased by almost 25% compared to pre-orders of the previous Fold 5 and Flip 5 models in 2023.
“ We attribute the growing interest in the new line to the introduction of artificial intelligence. We see a similar trend in the first line of Samsung smartphones with AI – Galaxy S24. In the first five months since the appearance of the Galaxy S24 on the Russian market, sales of the line were 80% higher compared to sales of the Galaxy S23 last year ,” MTS commented.
The trend was confirmed by Inventive Retail Group: there, total pre-orders of devices with AI, including foldable smartphones, increased by 34% compared to last year. And at VimpelCom, the number of pre-orders for Fold 6 and Flip 6 also increased by 25%.
MTS net profit increased by 211% in the first quarter of 2024 .
