Effective logistics as a growth engine

Entrepreneurs often postpone the decision to start selling online because they believe that e-commerce is already saturated, which will make it difficult for them to find a niche for their business. Proven solutions support them in overcoming barriers.

– We appeared on Amazon.pl in March 2023 to gain new customers and open up to international activities. We currently sell in Poland and Germany, and since the beginning of our presence on the site, we have achieved a turnover of over PLN 577,000 (May 2024). We have been recording continuous growth, achieving the highest results in our category. We mainly use the FBA model, which helped us sell products quickly – comments Paweł Olejarz, sales manager at RXone, which owns the Malinowe brand from the food industry.

On Amazon.pl, sellers can handle orders themselves or use an international distribution network. The Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) program enables storage, collection, packaging and delivery of products, as well as customer service and the returns process, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on their core business and offer development. 47% of SMEs took advantage of this option in 2023.

New jobs

In recent years, significant improvements in access to sales infrastructure and modern technologies have contributed to the progress of the digital economy and the development of SMEs in e-commerce – which in turn has increased the demand for workers in this area. Amazon data indicates that Polish entrepreneurs selling on Amazon have created over 13,000 jobs by the end of 2023 – most in the Masovian, Greater Poland and Lesser Poland provinces.

Small and medium-sized businesses account for over 60 percent of Amazon's total sales.
