  • Amazon.pl announced the results of a study carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Market and Social Research IBRiS, which show that Poles are increasingly choosing online shopping due to its convenience and attractive promotions.
  • 65 percent respondents believe that online shopping is more convenient than stationary shopping, and 70 percent likes to feel that thanks to the opportunities he is not overpaying and is getting a good deal.

The study was conducted on the occasion of the upcoming Amazon Prime Day shopping event, which will take place on July 16-17. These days, thousands of promotions await Amazon Prime customers.

An attractive opportunity on the Internet – what is it?

Poles consider the reduced product price (64%), free delivery of purchases regardless of the order value (56%), and easy returns (30%) as the most encouraging types of promotions. More and more people also point to instant delivery, even the next day (26%) and an additional discount above a specific amount (23%). Amazon.pl research shows that Poles do not like to incur additional costs related to the delivery of purchased products, and they the more benefits they get from their purchases, the better.

We are pleased that more than half of respondents already have Prime. The increasing popularity of the program confirms that we constantly strive to respond to their needs in terms of shopping and entertainment.”

Every second respondent chooses the one that offers free delivery of products as the most attractive form of subscription. Slightly less, 43%, also value access to entertainment, such as films and series. But how much are we actually willing to pay for the subscription? The largest group of respondents (42%) answered that they are willing to spend up to PLN 50 per year on such a package of benefits.

Poles are masters of bargains – what will surprise them with this year's Prime Day?

Opportunities mean 74 percent. respondents, an ideal opportunity to buy a previously selected product at an attractive price. Moreover, 73 percent such a purchase gives people the feeling that they are not overpaying and are simply getting a good deal. Nearly half of Poles declare that they keep up to date with the offers offered by stores, and 54 percent of them are willing to delay or accelerate shopping to take advantage of seasonal promotions.

They can soon count on big savings as part of the annual shopping festival for Amazon Prime customers – Prime Day, which will take place on July 16-17 at the Amazon.pl store. This year, Poles interested in participating in Prime Day are willing to spend an average of PLN 346. What will they be hunting during the event? According to the study, the most desired deals among those interested in participating in Prime Day are in the categories of clothing and footwear (68%), electronics (53%), cosmetics (50%), books (27%) and toys (23%). . The offer in this year's edition of the event (July 16-17) includes various products of Polish and foreign brands, such as: Trefl, Ochnik, Philips, Bosch, Garmin, Ecco, Puma, Remington, Lego, Fisher-Price and Tefal.

Prime customers during Prime Day, spending min. PLN 50 on selected products will receive an additional PLN 10 discount. In turn, for purchasing selected products for a minimum of PLN 300, they will receive a discount in the basket of PLN 50.
