Chanterelles collected from local forests are already sold at the market in Rakvere.
On Friday, July 12, four sellers were selling chanterelles; the price per kilogram ranged from 15 to 17 euros.
“Not from abroad and not even from South Estonia, collected in the forests of the Väike-Maarja parish, I collected it myself,” said the man who sold the chanterelles. “But they are still tiny, collecting and cleaning is quite a lot of work.”
