The construction of the Ferris wheel continues in Riga, and now it has taken shape – almost the entire wheel has been installed. The Riga Ferris wheel is located on the left bank of the Daugava, between Ranka dambis and Slokas street, and the project is being implemented by the Latvian company RPR Operators. RPR Operators planned to invest eight million euros in the creation of a recreation area with Ferris wheels in Pardaugava. "The Riga Ferris Wheel will be a modern, free-standing attraction that will lift Riga residents and guests to the height of 65 meters, allowing them to observe the panorama of Riga. The wheel will have 30 cabins equipped with air conditioning and heating. This Ferris wheel will be the largest in the Baltics and will operate all the time year,” Dmitry Uspensky, a member of the board of RPR Operators, said earlier. The Riga Ferris Wheel is being created in cooperation with one of the world's leading Ferris wheel manufacturing companies, as well as with the involvement of Latvian manufacturers, following the example of Tallinn, Helsinki, Budapest, Gdansk, London, the largest cities in Germany and others loved by tourists, the company explained . In addition to the construction of the Ferris wheel, work is also underway to improve the adjacent territory of the park.
