PDO winter wheat 2024. Which varieties yielded the highest?

At the outset, it is worth noting that the percentage of analysed experiments from 2024 was 93%. Varieties from the National Register not examined in the last three years: population – Amilo, Armand, Dańkowskie Rubin, Domir, Poznańskie, Słowiańskie, Stanko; hybrid – Brandie. From koalie, as COBORU further reports, the results of the varieties: Piastowskie, Horyzo, KWS Trebiano, KWS Florano and SU Arvid examined in 2024 only in a few experiments of selected voivodeships will be presented only in the regional perspective in the version from all experiments.
What was the benchmark? Namely, the average yield from varieties such as: Dańkowskie Avanti, Dańkowskie Kanter, KWS Igor, KWS Jethro. In 2023 and 2022, it was the average from: Dańkowskie Granat, Dańkowskie Kanter, KWS Igor, KWS Jethro.
In 2024, the standard yield was at the a1 level – 72.7 dt/ha, when in previous years it was higher, because in 2023 – 81.5 dt/ha, and in 2022 – 87.9 dt/ha. It was similar at the higher agrotechnical level a2. In 2024, the standard yield was 86.7 dt/ha, in 2023 – 95.5 dt/ha and in 2022 – 97.2 dt/ha.

We show the first "five" yields of population varieties. First, the percentage of yield of the a1 standard, then the a2 level:
- Dańkowskie Turkus – 95 percent of the standard yield, 92 percent of the standard yield,
- Dańkowskie Kanter – 94 percent of the standard yield, 93 percent of the standard yield,
- Dańkowskie Skand – 94 percent of the standard yield, 93 percent of the standard yield,
- Dańkowskie Kalcyt – 93 percent of the standard yield, 89 percent of the standard yield,
- Antonińskie – 92 percent of the standard yield, 89 percent of the standard yield.
