Packeta Poland, a global digital e-commerce platform, has launched a new DropYourBox service, which aims to simplify and speed up international shipments for Polish online stores. So far, customers whose location was not on Packeta's forwarding routes independently organized the transport of parcels to the carrier's warehouse, e.g. by sending them to Poczta Polska branches. Currently, thanks to DropYourBox, Packeta will collect parcels from the address indicated by the customer, regardless of their number or direction of shipment. Collections can be made daily, cyclically (e.g. once every 2 days) or on request, which allows the service to be tailored to the individual expectations of each e-commerce store.

The DropYourBox service will significantly improve the daily operations of online stores sending abroad. First of all, it eliminates the need to manage several suppliers – the entire foreign logistics service, from first to last mile, can now be provided by Packeta and settled on one invoice. This optimizes transit time, gives greater control over packages and reduces the total delivery costs incurred by online stores. Different frequency of pickups gives e-shops a lot of freedom and is a good solution for both stable and beginner e-commerce companies sending parcels in the cross-border model.

Basic principles of the DropYourBox service
#1 Parcels should be packed in collective boxes with maximum dimensions of 41x38x64 cm and weighing up to 25 kg. The number of boxes is unlimited.
#2 Collective cartons are collected by courier. The e-store can also deliver them to a selected collection point operated by InPost.
#3 Labels are sent by Packeta.
#4 Customer visits can be made daily, periodically (e.g. every 2 days) or on request – depending on the customer's needs and expectations. Ad hoc orders must be placed by 11.00 for pickup on the same day.
#5 Collections are made on business days, Monday to Friday.
