Ozon is launching the first stage of a new logistics complex in the village of Preobrazhenka in the Samara region.

As the company's press service said, sellers can already sign up for the supply of goods, and the start of shipments is scheduled for July 29. As a result of the opening of the logistics factory, about 150 jobs will be created for residents of the region.
The opened block of the logistics hub is designed to accommodate large-sized goods. It carries out the full cycle of processing online orders, from receiving goods to preparing parcels. Its floor area reaches 27 thousand sq.m. by floor, and the accommodation volume is 24 million liters.
By the end of the year, the company will launch several more blocks of the logistics complex and increase its total area to 46 thousand sq.m. by floor.
The logistics infrastructure of the marketplace has increased more than tenfold over the past 3 years. In addition to 32 fulfillment centers, there are more than 100 sorting centers and more than 50 thousand order pick-up points in Russia and the CIS countries. The total area of Ozon's logistics infrastructure in Russia and the CIS exceeds 2.7 million square meters.
