- On July 16, LipCo sp. z o. o. submitted an application to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection to take over joint control over SuperDrob SA based in Karczew.
- The case is ongoing.
The planned concentration – within the LipCo Foods Group – involves the acquisition of joint control by LipCo Sp. z o. o. with its registered office in Warsaw and SuperDrob SA with its registered office in Karczew.
Formal change in the management organization of the SuperDrob Group by the Lipka family
LipCo Sp. z o. o. was established in 2023, is a holding company and does not conduct operational activities.
The SuperDrob Group operates in Poland and worldwide, including on the poultry breeding and processing market, the pet food market, and the fish and seafood sales market. The group also specializes in the production of ready-to-eat meals, the so-called convenience food.
The SuperDrob Group supplies its products to customers in Poland and, to a large extent, also offers exports.
– The reason for the planned concentration is only a formal change in the organization of management of the SuperDrob Group by the Lipka family. After the concentration, joint control over SD will be exercised by LipCo Sp. z o. o., and ultimately (in terms of capital) its subsidiary, i.e. LipCo Foods SA. From the economic point of view, the concentration will not have any impact on competition, consumers, the relevant market, production costs, prices and economies of scale – explains the entrepreneur.
