After the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Hansa Shipping, which operates flights to Russian ports, saw its revenue and profits rise sharply, and its owners were paid 50 million euros in dividends last year, Delovye Vedomosti reports.

While the ship chartering company's revenue in 2021 was 102 million euros, it was already approaching 209 million euros in 2022. Net profit grew even more rapidly: from 25 million euros to 60 million.

Last year, revenue fell to 187 million euros, while net profit was more than 57 million euros.

The company's ships mainly sail between European ports, many of them transporting cargo to Russia and back to the West, but, as the company's management assures, since the beginning of 2022 Hansa Shipping no longer has Russian clients.
