Over 300 euros per night?! Holidays in Estonian spas require a lot of money. How to spend an inexpensive holiday

Свыше 300 евро за ночь?! Отдых в эстонских СПА требует больших затрат. Как провести отпуск недорого

Estonian spa hotels are popular among residents of Latvia, but their prices have risen and are causing debate as to whether it is worth vacationing in a neighboring country or whether it is better to find something else. Looking at the prices of our northern neighbors, you involuntarily come to the conclusion that it is almost impossible to stay overnight in a hotel for less than 100 euros. And if you are going on vacation as a family of four, then get ready to part with 300 euros or more. And this is just in one day! Journalists from the Estonian Delfi found out what prices you should expect when going on a spa vacation, what you can get for this money and when is the best time to relax. V Spa in Tartu is a very popular hotel. According to Booking, accommodation for one person for one night on a weekend without visiting the spa center costs from 125 euros, and with a visit to the spa center the price immediately increases by several tens of euros. Depending on the weekend, the price may be cheaper or more expensive. For example, it is currently impossible to buy a hotel stay with spa access for the next weekend. Prices for this offer range from €125 to €193 per person per night. At the end of June, a room with spa access for one night on a weekend costs 215 euros per person or 230 euros for two. And on the weekend of July 13, that is, less than a month from now, a room with access to the spa costs 190 euros for one person and 205 euros for two per night. To get the best price, it's worth coming on quieter days: if you stay on a Wednesday at the end of June alone, you'll pay €120 (without spa) or €150 (with spa). Hotel manager Triinu Teras explains that prices on online platforms are higher than on the hotel website, so she recommends looking for a good deal with them first. Teras confirms that demand for hotels is usually higher during the summer months, so if a customer is booking a room at the last minute, they should be aware that the price may change from what they previously saw.
