On the first day, during the opening session, Agnieszka Maliszewska – Forum Organizer, Director of the Polish Chamber of Milk and First Vice-President of COGACA will present the Polish dairy sector against the background of global agricultural policy, while Janusz Wojciechowski – European Commissioner for Agriculture will discuss the future role of farmers in the supply chain.

– The Polish dairy sector, as an important element of domestic agriculture, is deeply rooted in the history and culture of our country. It operates in a dynamic and complex environment that is shaped by global agricultural policy. In order to meet the challenges of the future, the Polish dairy sector must be ready to constantly adapt to changing market and consumption conditions – believes Agnieszka Maliszewska.

According to the Director of PIM, the role of the farmer in the food supply chain is undergoing dynamic changes, driven by a number of factors. It is drawing in colorful colors, full of new opportunities and challenges. The farmer of the future will have to be innovative, enterprising and open to change. At the same time, he will have the chance to create a sustainable and profitable farm that will meet the needs of modern consumers.
