The OKKO chain is rolling out a new service for dispensing ready-made meals at its filling stations – OKKO Drive. Now drivers do not have to leave the car to order food and drinks from the café’s assortment. Two pilot points have already been launched in Lviv and Ternopil, with eight more OKKO Drive stations at gas stations in Lviv in the pipeline.
“Modern gas stations have long ceased to be places where people stop by purely to refuel. They now offer many more options. Along with fuel competition, competition in the areas of services, delicious coffee and food, speed of service and digitalization is becoming increasingly intense. OKKO have always been trendsetters and now we are creating a new niche for fuel retail in Ukraine – fast service in the OKKO Drive format. I’m sure our customers will like the new service,” comments Elena Voroshilo, operational director of the OKKO chain.
To use the service, you need to drive up to the menu counter on the territory of the complex, make a choice, then move to the pick-up window, pay in a convenient way and pick up the completed and packaged order in a matter of minutes. You can order well-known dishes from the cafe’s assortment – pizza, burgers, hot dogs, snacks, pastries – as well as coffee, tea and refreshing drinks.
Now OKKO Drive is already operating at gas stations in Lviv on the street. Nauchnaya, 2 A and a new recently opened gas station near Ternopil in the village of Gai-Grechinskiye on the street. Lvovskaya, 9.
The idea to open ready-to-eat food service at OKKO filling stations appeared even before the war. A test OKKO Drive was opened at a filling station in Lviv on the street. Lychakovskaya in 2021, and all processes were worked out and customer demand for this service was analyzed.
In 2023, OKKO returned to the implementation of the project for the delivery of ready-made meals in a modified and updated format, and planned investments in the opening of Drive at the level of about $1.8 million in 2024. A modern futuristic design was developed and implemented for ordering counters and food delivery.
OKKO is constantly working to introduce new opportunities and services for clients. Thus, drivers and passengers can pay directly at the pump using the OKKO Pay service; the company has installed 20 double-sided cash registers, with plans for 80 more this year; and dishes from the OKKO menu and goods from the store can be ordered through the delivery services Glovo and Bolt.
