The state company Valsts nekustamie īpašumi (VNĪ) is re-offering the purchase of real estate on Kalku Street with a starting price of just over 1.83 million euros, according to information in the official publication "Latvijas vēstnesis". The property at Kalku Street 24 includes a land plot of 1,150 square meters and administrative buildings with a total area of 3979.1 square meters. At the auction it is proposed to purchase 35,236/37,573 shares of the total property. The starting price at the auction is set at 1,831,500 euros. The auction step is 10,000 euros. The auction will begin on July 16, 2024 and end on August 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The first auction for the sale of real estate at 24 Kalku Street ended on October 6, 2023. At this auction, VNĪ offered real estate with a starting price of 3.663 million euros. The next auction ended on November 24, 2023, where the starting price was set at €3,296,700. Also, the auction for the sale of real estate on Kalku Street could be submitted until March 1, 2024 with a starting price of 2,930,400 euros, until April 12, 2024 with a starting price of 2,564,100 euros, until May 20, 2024 with a starting price of 2,197,800 euros and until July 1 with a starting price of 1,978,020 euros. On June 20, 2023, the government allowed VNĪ to sell at auction the state-owned 35,236/37,573 shares of real estate at 24 Kalku Street, Riga, since the state structure has no need for this real estate. The cadastral value of the state-owned 35,236/37,573 shares of the property at 24 Kalku Street as of January 1, 2023 was set at EUR 2,058,392. The property at Kalku Street 24 is a cultural monument of national importance. The buildings are located in Old Riga opposite Livu Square. Operation of the premises began in 1894. The property on Kalku Street can be used as premises for commercial activities or for the development of the residential sector. The technical analysis shows stable and durable structures with satisfactory technical condition, VNĪ previously reported. VNĪ was registered in 1996, its sole owner is the Ministry of Finance.
