According to the results of our weekly survey, most of the surveyed weaners sales points decided to lower their prices (from PLN 5 to PLN 30/piece). The remaining points decided to lower their rates. There was also one increase in the maximum price (by PLN 10/piece).

Further price reductions for weaner pigs in Denmark
Current prices of domestic weaners (29/07/2024)?
In the case of domestic weaners, the vast majority of surveyed sales points decided to offer discounts (from PLN 5 to PLN 30/piece).
According to the results of our weekly survey, rates for domestically produced weaners weighing 20 kg currently average PLN 351/piece. net, i.e. by PLN 6/pcs. net less than a week earlier. Prices of weaners in this mass range from PLN 330 to PLN 370/piece. net.
In turn, domestic weaners weighing 30 kg cost on average PLN 423/piece. net, i.e. PLN 12/pcs. net less than last week. Their prices range from PLN 380 to PLN 450/pcs. net.

How much do imported weaners cost (29/07/2024)?
Also in the case of imported pigs, most of the surveyed sales points decided to reduce prices. There were also occasional price increases and one increase in the minimum price (by PLN 10/piece).
Weaner pigs imported from Denmark are currently valued at an average of PLN 409/piece. net, i.e. by PLN 9/pcs. net less than last week. Their prices range from PLN 330 to PLN 471/piece. net. The prices given are for weaners weighing 30 kg.
