Statistics from the Chamber of Notaries show that in the first half of the year the number of real estate transactions was 5% less, writes Delovye Vedomosti.
In the first half of the year, 31,320 real estate transactions took place in Estonia, the Chamber of Notaries reported. This is 5% less than in the same period in 2023.
The number of transactions decreased most noticeably in Hiiumaa (35%), Põlva County (19%) and Valga County (16%).
The real estate market was busier than a year ago in three counties – in Järva County, where the number of transactions increased by 9%, in Ida-Viru County (by 5%) and in Saare County (by 3%).
