The concentration involves the acquisition by Infifresh Foodtech AS based in Oslo of exclusive control over Koral SA based in Kukinia.

The Applicant is the holding and operating company of the Captain Fresh Group, responsible for the Europe and USA region. The Captain Fresh Group operates globally in the fish and seafood sector, focused on activities in the field of seafood supply through the use of technology to effectively match supply and demand.
Koral offers a wide range of fish and fish products on the Polish market, in particular in the following categories: smoked fish, fresh fish, frozen fish, marinades and canned fish. These products are distributed both under the company's well-known own brands (Superfish, Koral), as well as under the own brands of retail chains.
Koral is one of the leading producers of smoked salmon products, both in Poland and abroad.
The company has been operating on the market for 35 years. It has a production plant that, on an area of 22,000 square meters, contains 26 production lines and employs 450 workers. The production capacity allows for processing 120 tons of raw material per day.
