PIH: The ban on the sale of alcohol will fuel gray zone business
The alcohol substitutes market has been growing like crazy recently. But for non-alcoholic purchases you need a much thicker wallet – says bizblog.spidersweb.pl. Harnaś in a bottle costs PLN 2.99, Żubr – PLN 3.49, Tyskie Gronie – PLN 3.99, Żywiec – PLN 4.19, Lech Premium – PLN 4.39. How much should you spend on beer without interest? It turns out to be much more. At least PLN 4, and maybe even PLN 10 for a half-liter bottle.
Flavored drinks are more expensive fun. A bottle of Vassa Zero V, 700 ml, alcohol content less than 0.5%, costs PLN 160 online. The alcoholic equivalent is much cheaper – 0.7 l of Krupnik Premium costs PLN 45, similarly for Żołądkowa Gorzka De Lux 700 ml – PLN 44.99. Żubrówka Biała with this capacity costs PLN 45.99, and Wyborowa – PLN 48.50. So, in terms of price, one bottle of vodka without alcohol is as expensive as at least three with percentage – calculates bizblog.spidersweb.pl.
The same is true for other products: non-alcoholic Gordon gin (700 ml) costs PLN 99.99, while Vassa Zero G (700 ml) costs PLN 149.99. Meanwhile, one of the cheapest alcoholic gins with a capacity of 700 ml costs approximately PLN 60.
