Nobody’s Child rolls out clothing takeback scheme

Womenswear brand Nobody’s Child has teamed up with pre-loved fashion firm Reskinned to launch a takeback scheme.

The scheme is designed to give clothes “another shot at life” after shoppers are finished with them and is “accepting pieces in any condition”.

The initiative finds the garments a new home, repairs them, if needed, or chooses the best recycling route for them if they have been “worn and loved to the very end”.

Participating shoppers will receive a discount code of up to £30 for Nobody’s Child as a thank you for taking part.

Posting on LinkedIn, Reskinned said: “We’re joining forces to provide takeback for our friends at Nobody’s Child, so your pieces get another shot at life after you’re finished with them.

“It’s an honour to work with a brand that has sustainability at the core of their ethos, and we’re happy to provide the tools for the next phase of their circularility journey.”

Nobody’s Child joins various other fashion retailers that have partnered with Reskinned as part of their sustainability efforts.

The company partnered with Dune in July 2023 to launch a take-back scheme, while it also teamed up with Seasalt in March the same year to roll out a resale platform.
