In response to the speeches of the Management Board of the National Council of Chambers of Agriculture regarding the launch of the next edition of the "Removal of agricultural foil and other waste from agricultural activities" program by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, the Ministry of Climate and Environment responded briefly:
– Currently, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management does not plan to announce another call for applications for 2024 under the Program.
The ministry further notes:
– Nevertheless, after completing the implementation of projects under the already concluded co-financing agreements, the Fund will assess the need for financial support and consider the advisability of continuing the Program. It should be noted, however, that the launch of the next call for applications will depend on the availability of funds in the budget for the implementation of the Program and the determination of the inflows of funds to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management that can be allocated for this purpose – we read in the letter to KRIR.
