Next has rolled out its premium online fashion platform, Seasons, selling a selection of oremium and luxury brands.
The website launch, which was announced in September, seeks to build on the success of the retailer’s Reiss acquisition, which it now owns 74% of.
Next is planning to grow its third-party business by creating a dedicated ecosystem for higher-end labels, including Ganni, Marc Jacobs and Tory Burch.
The platform says it is seeking to build long-term relationships with the brands it currently stocks, while also increasing its portfolio and eventually targeting the next tier of luxury labels.

The move comes as Next has seen shoppers buying fewer, more expensive items.
Commenting at the time of the website announcement, boss Lord Wolfson said: “We’re definitely seeing more traction at the mid and higher end of our price architecture, than the base. That’s people buying fewer higher quality things.
“Now that we’ve started to sell more premium brands like Reiss we have found that within our 8 million customers there are a significant number who are interested in more premium product, and we think we can serve those customers better by putting these brands on our website.
“It’s about servicing the premium customers we’ve got better, giving them brands we think that they’ll love.”
While Seasons will start out just serving the UK, it has aims to scale out internationally towards the end of 2025 or early 2026.
