December 20 December in the First National trading house opened the new flagship store of Vitebskiye carpets. Now, when style and comfort become integral parts of life, Vitebskiye Carpets has updated the format of their trading points. An announcement to the NZR – New Laws of Retail for developing this format was the beginning of a fascinating journey into the world of design and functionality.
Modularity and uniqueness
The first step to develop the new format was zoning and designing the store space. For it was developed modular and easily transformable equipment. The main challenge in this task was the
large goods (carpets), which are exhibited in the mass-market principle with the opportunity
to see, touch and buy.
In this direction the NZR team faced a true challenge: creating unique positions that could not be found in the competitors in Belarus. It was not just
work, but a total adventure, requiring full immersion in the process. Every element
has been considered to the finest detail, to ensure the maximum comfort and convenience for the customer.

Renovated Design Interior
The next step is renovation of the design of the interior of the store. Previously Vitebsk’s Carpets adhered to graphite gray gamma with maroon
The new concept focused on the creation of a sweet and heat with
a focus on the Scandinavian style. This has created an atmosphere in which every
customer feels like home. Soft colors, textures wood, POSM elements in light tones.
The specially selected shade of paint for metal was another one of the highlights of the new interior. This unique color, like brass, but more calm and democratic, was perfectly combined with textures and colors furniture. Lighting also was thought out to the finest detail: over each zone was created its lighting story, emphasizing the dignities of the goods and
creating an atmosphere of love.
Zones for a comfortable shopping
The new store
has created numerous zones for the convenience of shoppers. At the entrance there is a rest area where customers can relax, And for children there is a unusual board with minimalistic figures on
magnets, from which you can make your “carpet pattern”. This is not only entertaining,
but also an opportunity for children to exhibit their creativity.
Special attention was given to the zone for working with designers. There clients can discuss their ideas and receive professional advice in a comfortable environment, surrounded by their designers.samples and comfortable furniture.
Symbolism and individuality
One of the key elements of the integrators of the New Marketintegrators of the new design is the specially designed pattern
in circles. This minimalistic reference
to the loops of the
carpet has become not only a
part of the visual identity of the
store, but and was integrated
into the font feed slogans design POS-materials and window. Volumetric circles add playfulness and individuality to the interior, creating a unique atmosphere in a simple and inexpensive store space.
On one of the brnedvolls can be seen as circles of the letters of the slogan transition to circles with pieces of carpet covering, transparently referring to the specialization of the store.
For the advertising banners the concept was chosenwithmacrophotographyofthecarpets,representingthestore’sproducts in thisnon-trivialimage.
