In addition, the disease was confirmed in ten other provinces. The highest number of cases was recorded in the Pomeranian and Greater Poland provinces.

In total, in 95 ASF outbreaks, traces of the virus were confirmed in the tissues of 119 animals. 68 outbreaks were confirmed in dead wild boars, and 27 in shot animals (including 3 that showed symptoms of ASF).
ASF in 2024
Since the beginning of the year, 1260 ASF outbreaks have been confirmed in 13 provinces of our country. The disease has been detected in 1874 animals. To date, 41 ASF outbreaks in pigs have also been confirmed. Most of them were confirmed in Wielkopolska.
