Did you know that Ursus was manufactured in Pakistan? Here is its history
– Pakistan is a long-term partner of our company. We mainly supply tractors with 50-80 hp to this region. MTZ CEO Vitaly Vowk signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shahzad Trade Link and HBL Zarai Services. The new strategy is aimed at promoting equipment with a power of over 100 hp. We managed to reach an agreement not only on the promotion and sale of our machines, but also on their maintenance. We are currently studying the possibility of creating platforms for the presentation of tractors and mobile service of agricultural machinery in various provinces of Pakistan, through the existing dealer network and with the involvement of new companies, Julia Arabey, Deputy Head of the Department of Promotion and Sales of Products in Southeast Asia and the Middle East of MTZ OJSC, explained to the Belarusian portal Traktor.bel.
MTZ has concluded an additional agreement with the owner of Shahzad Trade Link, Shahzad Riaz, for the delivery of tractors worth $25 million and spare parts worth $1.4 million – for the period from August to December this year. In addition, MTZ CEO Vitaly Vovk signed an agreement with the owner of Fecto Belarus Tractors (Private) Limited, Muhammad Raza Fecto. The document provides for the delivery of Belarus tractors, mainly 510 series, in 2024. The value of deliveries amounts to $7.9 million.
