Karol Zieliński served as a member of the management board of mPay for almost 2 years. The main area of its activity was the B2B segment, including the provision of technical business solutions. Fintech has created and implemented the first payment solutions for the B2B segment based on API interfaces, including: API enabling the creation of your own payment ecosystems or wallets in external applications. Zieliński realized, among others: implementation of mPay technology for the Stock Exchange or the LiveKid application.

– I would like to thank Karol Zieliński for serving as a Member of the Management Board for almost two years. This time was full of many successes, it was the dynamic development of mPay towards a super financial application. Together we managed to introduce to the market, among others: VISA mPay debit card, which is a milestone in our development, together we have also reached the barrier of 1.5 million application users. However, our cooperation does not end there, because today, after obtaining the consent of the Supervisory Board, we decided to purchase 60% of shares in Paymatic Sp. z o. o., which Karol Zieliński created and of which he is the president – says Andrzej Basiak, CEO of mPay.

mPay, strengthening the channel of payment solutions for B2B, will now perform some projects and new products through Paymatic, and if they require a payment license, they will be provided by mPay in the PaaS (Payments as a Service) model. In this model, payment communication takes place using APIs created by the PaaS provider.

mPay announced the recruitment for a new Member of the Management Board a few weeks ago. The selection process is currently ongoing.

mPay is an application already used by 1.5 million users. It enables, among others: digital payments. It offers users Visa debit cards, giving them the ability to pay around the world, as well as free direct transfers for users loading mPay wallets.

mPay is also a Polish fintech, a provider of solutions and services in the area of mobile financial transactions for business, listed on the NewConnect market of the Stock Exchange since 2011. The company is expanding its service portfolio, including: as a licensed settlement agent with a license from the National Bank of Poland for its own Payment Scheme and a company with the status of a National Payment Institution supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. This means that it has the authority to maintain payment accounts for customers and issue payment instruments.
