The Ogonyok plant may lose a plot of land and eight buildings in the south of Moscow. This is reported by Kommersant .

On August 1, the City Property Department (CPD) filed a lawsuit against Ogonyok Plant LLC. As the CPD explained to the publication, the case is related to the plant's termination of its lease of 1.7 hectares on 6th Radialnaya Street and the seizure of eight buildings on the same site with a total area of 21.5 thousand square meters, which are the property of the enterprise.
The site was needed for the construction of a station on the Biryulevskaya metro line, the State Property Department clarified, adding that the owner of the asset was sent a draft agreement indicating the amount of compensation, but his consent was never received.
According to Rosreestr, the cadastral value of the disputed plot on 6th Radialnaya Street is 329.6 million rubles, and of all eight buildings – 1.08 billion rubles.
The Ogonyok toy factory was established in Moscow in 1963. In the late 90s, it began producing Russian imitations of the Barbie doll – Mashenka, Angelica, Zlata, as well as rubber crocodiles Kirill and toads Josephine. Now the factory in Moscow is not functioning, the production site has been moved to Ryazan. Denis Zhivtsov is listed as the owner of the company in SPARK. The factory's revenue in 2023 amounted to 141 million rubles, net loss – 260 million rubles.
