Morrisons is extending its partnership with Too Good To Go so that customers can purchase ‘Surprise Bags’ from 930 of its Morrisons Daily convenience stores to help combat food waste while providing value to customers.
Following a successful trial in various locations across north England, the midlands and Wales, the supermarket is “expanding its commitment to sustainability” by listing its convenience stores on the surplus food marketplace app.
It said the move will enabling users to fight food waste by reserving its Surprise Bags of surplus food at a reduced price. During the trial, over 40,000 Surprise Bags were saved across the regions.

The news builds on the success of the pair’s long-standing partnership, in which Morrisons was the first supermarket partner of Too Good To Go back in 2019.
Morrisons senior sustainability manager Andrew Edlin said: “Customers and colleagues continue to tell us how much they value Too Good To Go’s Surprise Bags from Morrisons.”
“It saves customers money while also helping us to play our part in reducing food waste and hitting our sustainability target of achieving scope 3 net-zero operational emissions, so we are delighted to be rolling the bags out to some of our Morrisons Daily convenience stores.”
Too Good To Go UK and Ireland country director Sophie Trueman added: “Our team is absolutely thrilled to have Morrisons Daily joining the fight against food waste.”
