Moonpig teams up with The Entertainer to launch new toy gifting range

Moonpig has partnered with toys retailer The Entertainer to launch a curated selection of toys that can be bought alongside its personalised cards.

Customers will have access to up to 200 new products from The Entertainer and its Early Learning Centre business, including popular brands such as Paw Patrol, Barbie and Squishmallows.

The range is designed to provide customers with combinations of personalised cards and gifts for occasions like birthdays and new baby celebrations.

Moonpig is the latest company to adopt The Entertainer’s Toy Box – Total Retail Solution – a service that allows retailers to tailor their toy offerings by using its bespoke sourcing, ranging, wholesale or retail execution.

Earlier this year, Tesco extended its partnership with The Entertainer, bringing its toy offer to 759 of its large supermarkets in the UK and 94 in Ireland.

The Entertainer group CEO Andrew Murphy OBE said: “Our partnership with Moonpig is testament to the versatility, as well as the attractiveness, of this offer. Moonpig will focus on personalisation and convenience with this new collection and the new platform will use intelligent prompts based on customer data to suggest the most appropriate gift options for different occasions and recipients.

The online retailer’s UK general manager David Rimmer said the tie-up “has not only helped expand our baby and children’s gifting ranges, but also reinforces our commitment to only having the best brands on site as part of our ongoing trusted brand strategy”.

“Our aim is to always provide customers with the opportunity to create the most personalised card and gift combinations, and we are confident that this new collection will strengthen that commitment and ambition to become the go-to place for all of your gifting needs,” he added.

The toy range will feature best-selling toys priced between £12 and £35, and includes a mix of soft toys and character sets from children’s favourites such as The Gruffalo, Peter Rabbit, Bluey and Peppa Pig.
