The support is provided in the form of de minimis aid in agriculture.
Breeders who conduct supervised activities and are entered in the register of the District Veterinary Officer and the register of producers of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture could apply for funding for overwintered bee colonies. In total, beekeepers submitted over 44,000 this year. applications – most in the Lublin region (over 5 thousand), in Małopolska (4.5 thousand) and in Podkarpacie (4.3 thousand).
The subsidy rate is – as in the previous year – PLN 50 for each overwintered bee family, and the pool of funds reserved for this assistance is PLN 80 million. Support is provided in the form of de minimis aid in agriculture.
It was already possible to apply for support for maintaining bees during the non-fruit period for the fourth time. In 2021, beekeepers received nearly PLN 20 million in this respect, in 2022 over PLN 23 million, and in 2023 almost PLN 77 million.
